The recording industry is doing a major crack down on the Internet piracy of music, movies and television programs. We have this week received two warnings with very specifict evidence of customers who've been using our Internet service to illegally download in particular movies and television shows.

This is illegal and the recording industry is very serious about protecting their copyright. At the moment, a ISP called iinet is being sued by the recording industry due to the actions of themselves and some of their users in relation to BitTorrent usage.

If you are using BitTorrent or similar applications on your PC to download copyright material I strongly suggest you remove those applications and any copyright material from your PC.

The recording industry people are heavyweights and it appears they are willing to go after individuals in order to try to stamp out the problem.

Everything you do on the internet is trackable and you must keep this in mind if you are doing anything illegal with your connection. These people can gather a lot of evidence without very much trouble and if the men in black suits knock on your door you'll be in serious trouble.
